Order & Delivery
  • When will my wine be delivered?
    Order on weekdays? We'll do our best to have your wine delivered to your door within 2 to 3 days. You'll always receive a track & trace code so you know exactly when to have your glasses ready.

  • What are the shipping costs?
    We want your wine to arrive safely and securely. For orders under €60, we charge €10.95 in shipping costs. Above that amount, we cover the shipping costs and shipping is free.

  • What payment options do you offer?
    With us, you can pay securely and easily via Wero (iDEAL) , Klarna , Mastercard , or Visa . Order those beautiful bottles in just a few clicks.
Returns & Service
  • What if a bottle arrives broken?
    That's a real bummer, of course. Even though we pack our wines very securely, things can sometimes go wrong in transit. Don't worry. Send us a photo of the box and bottle right away, and we'll take care of it for you right away.

  • Can I return the wine?
    Not completely satisfied? You can return your order within 14 days, provided the bottles are unopened and undamaged. You'll be responsible for the return shipping costs. Always contact us at info@wijnwinkeldewijntoren.nl before returning anything so we're aware of the situation.
Our Wines & Advice
  • What exactly do you mean by 'not one of a dozen' wines?
    In the supermarket, you'll find wines made for the masses. Our wines are different. We choose bottles from growers who sometimes only produce a few thousand bottles a year. This means the wine can vary slightly each year, allowing nature to take its course. These are wines with their own character and an honest story. Exactly as the grower intended.

  • How do I get the most out of my bottle of wine?
    There's nothing more shameful than drinking a beautiful wine at the wrong temperature. Our red wines love to breathe. Feel free to open the bottle half an hour to an hour beforehand. Drink it around 18°C ​​(64°F). White, rosé, and sparkling wines are best enjoyed straight from the refrigerator. Dessert wines also deserve to be kept really cold. This brings out the best balance of sweetness and acidity.

  • Can I keep the wines for a long time?
    Most of the wines we select are at their peak and ready to enjoy immediately. So you don't have to cellar them for years. Want to keep a specific bottle for a little longer? Most red wines will keep well for a few years in a cool, dark place. Have a specific bottle in mind? Feel free to ask us for honest storage advice.

  • Do you also provide wine and food pairing advice?
    Absolutely. Whether you're planning a dinner party or looking for a good bottle to pair with a specific dish, we're happy to help you with simple, straightforward advice. No complicated jargon, just honest, helpful advice.

  • Can you send a package directly as a gift?
    Absolutely. We can send the wine box directly to the lucky recipient. Would you like a personal message included? Let us know in the comments section of your order and we'll arrange that for you.

  • Are you always on the road with your camper?
    We try to go out as often as possible to discover new producers. When we're in Italy, amidst the olive groves, the webshop is still open. We might just be a little slower to respond if we're just crossing a mountaintop or working in a farmer's cellar. We'll keep you updated on our whereabouts through our Wine Stories, so you know exactly where the next shipment of wine is coming from.
