Wine details

What do you taste?

Vinification

Cococciola is a rare grape variety that thrives on the hills surrounding Lanciano, some 200 meters above sea level. The young vines grow here on silt and clay soil. The grapes are harvested by hand in early September to preserve their freshness. A gentle pressing follows in the cellar, after which the bubbles are created using the "Charmat method" (similar to Prosecco). Secondary fermentation takes place in a closed tank. The wine then rests on the lees for three months. This patience is evident: it creates that refined mousse, the refreshing balance, and the soft mouthfeel.

Regional explanation

Abruzzo – Wine of Sun and Mountains

Abruzzo is where the rugged mountains meet the Adriatic Sea. A region with a deep winemaking tradition, where the sun and wind shape the character of the grapes. While the region is famous for its Montepulciano and Trebbiano, the Mediterranean climate here offers the perfect conditions for both strength and finesse. It's an authentic landscape where craftsmanship is passed down from generation to generation, and where nature truly reigns supreme.
