De heldere, strogele kleur met dat groene randje laat je direct zien hoe fris en levendig deze wijn is.

Denk aan een zonnige ochtend in de wijngaard. Je ruikt vers fruit en rijpe appels, subtiel aangevuld met een vleugje kruidigheid.

In de mond
Precies wat je van een eerlijk glas wit mag verwachten. Hij is vol van smaak maar blijft opvallend levendig. De zachte zuurgraad botst nergens, wat perfect in balans is met het hartige karakter.

De afdronk
Zuiver en doordrinkbaar. Hij sluit af met een lange, elegante afdronk. Een nuchtere topper zonder poespas, van de boer naar De Wijntoren.

The Trebbiano grapes for this Archè grow on the fresh silt and clay soils of the hills surrounding Lanciano, some 200 meters above sea level. Here, the ten-year-old vines catch the midday sun (west-southwest). Harvest takes place in the second half of September, simply by hand. In the cellar, the juice is immediately protected from oxygen to preserve that crisp freshness. The skins remain with the juice for a very short time—about thirty minutes—just long enough to develop flavor and structure, but short enough to prevent bitterness. After a cool fermentation, the wine is aged in tanks at low temperatures, so it retains its pure, fruity character.
