🍇 Montepulciano

Deep, concentrated, and full of juice. This red wine bursts with black cherry and plum flavors, combined with soft spicy notes. An accessible, medium-bodied wine beautifully balanced by a pleasant freshness. Not a heavy drink, but a layered and honest glass.

Wine details

What do you taste?

Vinification

In the Giulianova cellar, this wine is still made with true craftsmanship. The winemaker lets the skins float on the juice in open vats for three to seven days. He regularly pushes down the "caps" of the skins by hand (pigeage) to release all that beautiful color and fruity aromas. There's no tinkering involved: fermentation occurs spontaneously, purely by the power of nature and without any temperature control. After a year of rest, the wine is bottled, where it can continue to age in the bottle until it's perfect for your glass.

Colle San Massimo

Regional explanation

Abruzzo – Wine of Sun and Mountains

Abruzzo is where the rugged mountains meet the Adriatic Sea. A region with a deep winemaking tradition, where the sun and wind shape the character of the grapes. While the region is famous for its Montepulciano and Trebbiano, the Mediterranean climate here offers the perfect conditions for both strength and finesse. It's an authentic landscape where craftsmanship is passed down from generation to generation, and where nature truly reigns supreme.
